Work on The Community Orchard is making great progress.
Many thanks to MJB Excavations who donated expertise, time, and machinery to prepare the ground ready for planting over 100m of native hedging.
They also removed a significant amount of debris from the site and did a fantastic job all round despite snow and freezing conditions!
Thanks also to Whitheads (1858) Ltd, our lovely local coffee roasters who have very kindly been saving up material left over from the roasting process so that it can be used as a mulch for the new hedge.
